Fire of 2007

On Sunday January 28, 2007 around 11:30am Parker’s Seafood Caught Fire due to a faulty Fryer Stove in the kitchen. Parker’s was closed so no one was injured by the fire. Luckily some loyal customers happened to be riding down Peters Creek Rd. at that time and noticed the smoke coming out of the back of the building. Knowing that Parker’s Seafood was not open on Sundays they immediately call 911. If not for the quick action of the patrons and the rapid response of the fire department, the building would have suffered more damage than it did. It took about 6 Months of strenuous and dirty work to get Parker’s back to normal, but on July 10, 2007 we re-opened our doors. We thank God for the people sent our way to help us thru this tuff time.
